MEET THE OWNER

Hi! I'm Tom, the owner of Calenion Apparel. This is me after printing one of the first ever orders I received back in 2020, whilst set up in a spare bedroom.

If you're looking to find out a little more about the brand, you've come to the right place!

This brand is run and managed by myself. I do everything including the behind-the-scenes admin work, I draw all the designs, print the orders, package them up and then send them out to you.

WHERE IT ALL STARTED...

Ever since I was a teenager I've had a huge love for tattoo art. I spent hours each day drawing flash sheets and coming up with tattoo ideas. So a number of years on, you'd probably expect me to be covered in tattoos now, right?... well, not exactly. I really hate needles!

So, wanting to still display my tattoo art in some way I had another idea. Instead of getting my designs tattooed I could put them on t-shirts so I could wear them and change the design every day. So, this became the goal I worked towards whilst I was still at university. In my spare time I learned how to do graphic design, build a website and advertise on social media.

After a lot of ups and downs, and a ton of hard work pursuing this dream, fast forward to May 2020 and Calenion Apparel was born!

PRINTING & EMBROIDERY

All printing and embroidery is carried out in-house and each item is only made once it has been ordered. This means that we're not sat on a bunch of stock and we can bring out new releases much more regularly.

This also means that more focus can be put onto ensuring every product meets the highest quality standard.

Since May 2020 this brand has been growing more and more with each year that passes. We've gained thousands of new followers on social media, hundreds of 5-star reviews, and most importantly, we've gained a loyal and dedicated community.

I've released hundreds of designs over the years (some more popular than others - and you've let me know!), incorporating different styles and themes including Japanese culture, traditional tattoos, nature and pop culture. But, this community has been involved every step of the way, whether that's in the form of design suggestions, naming the artwork or collections, or aiding with the colours and layout of specific designs.

Calenion Apparel is, and always will be for everyone. We're a tattoo brand, but that doesn't mean you're required to have tattoos - I don't! If you love the artwork on one of our designs, then wear it with pride and stand out from the crowd!
